I'm a rare ADHDer in that I did a maths degree and I totally agree this is ridiculous! Practical life skills maths I'm all for but honestly my degree was and is useless other than it ticked the box for me to do a graduate scheme. I honestly believe everyone has their own "maths wall" where they no longer understand and it hit me in my second year. So forcing kids to do another 2 years of that type of maths is pointless. Martin Lewis' push for financial education is the way it should go if anyone has any sense!
